I recently stayed at a beautiful townhouse located in the heart of a charming little town. The location couldn't have been better - right on the main square, surrounded by restaurants, and just a short walk from the spectacular Royal Dornoch golf course. The highlight for me was the castle next door, which not only had a cozy bar with a fireplace but also offered whisky tasting. The townhouse itself was spread across three floors, with the kitchen and sitting room on the top floor, providing stunning views. The bedrooms were comfortable, and it was a nice touch to find cookies and wine as a welcome gesture. The amenities catered to our needs, with a washer in the kitchen and a dryer in the game room. Although there was no soap provided in the bathrooms, there was a grocery co-op just a block away, making it convenient to pick up essentials. the townhouse offered a clean and reasonably priced place to stay, with good communication from the hosts.

We had a wonderful New Year's stay in a beautifully furnished and clean house. The property was well-equipped with everything we needed, including comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, with easy access to sightseeing and the beach just a short walk away. Plus, the central location made it convenient for exploring the NC500 route.
The noise from the road and people outside, which could be a bit disruptive. the stairs may be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Great central location - with pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops all within a 5-minute walk. The decor and furnishings were all excellent, and the sofa was the most comfortable we've ever sat on. Plus, the property was large, airy, and right next to the main square.
The noise from the nearby pub and smokers outside the house windows was quite disruptive, especially late at night. there were some maintenance issues and missing amenities such as a hairdryer, kitchen supplies, and instructions for appliances.

The location of the property was fantastic, right in the heart of the town and close to everything we needed. The facilities in the accommodation were top-notch, with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living area. having three bedrooms and three bathrooms was a major convenience for our group.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the noise from the street and neighboring pub was quite disruptive, especially in the evenings.

Played billiards and darts like a pro! They even had a toaster, fridge, and stovetop, like a real home. The nearest airport was Inverness, so convenient if you like being far away from everything.
Oh, just loved how unsteady the dinner table was, really added excitement to my meals.

Incredibly central location with amazing views. Surrounded by fantastic restaurants, a beautiful castle, and just a short walk from the renowned Royal Dornoch golf course. The castle's bar offers a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace and whisky tasting. The three floors provide plenty of space, with a top-floor kitchen sitting room and a first-floor bedroom that remains peaceful at night. Convenient amenities include a washer in the kitchen and a dryer in the game room. While soap is not provided in the bathrooms, a grocery co-op just a block away makes it easy to stock up on essentials and enjoy a French press coffee. The welcoming touch of cookies and wine adds a special touch, and the availability of Netflix and cable channels ensures entertainment options. With two bathrooms, two queen bedrooms, and a twin room, the townhouse offers comfortable accommodations. a GREAT value for a clean and communicative stay.

The location of this townhouse in Dornoch was ideal for exploring the area. I loved being right on the main square, with restaurants and the castle just steps away. The nearby Royal Dornoch golf course was a bonus for any golf enthusiasts. The castle's bar with a fireplace and whisky tasting was a cozy spot to relax in. The townhouse itself had three floors, with the kitchen and sitting room on the top floor. The bedroom on the first floor, although facing the street, was not noisy at night. The washer in the kitchen and dryer in the game room were convenient amenities. While there was no soap provided in the bathrooms, there was a grocery co-op just one block away for supplies. The value for money at the Town House Villa was great - a lovely house, well-furnished, and clean. The location was perfect, close to amenities and a gorgeous beach. The staff were friendly and communication with the host was excellent.
The breakfast option could have been better with a wider variety of choices.

The townhouse we stayed in was located in a prime spot, right in the heart of the action. We had plenty of dining options right on our doorstep, and even a castle and golf course just a short walk away. The house itself was well-equipped and clean, with a spacious kitchen and cozy bedrooms. We appreciated the good communication with the host, who made sure we had everything we needed.
We did experience some noise disturbances in the evenings due to the nearby pub. The smell of cigarette smoke and loud conversations from outside could be heard even with the windows closed, which was not ideal for a family with small kids.
